Need for Speed Shift 2 Unleashed is an arcade-style racing game. The title was developed by Slightly Mad Studios and published by Electronic Arts. The game is the sequel to Need for Speed: Shift, and the seventh installment in the Need for Speed series. The protagonist of this story is a new racer, who will need to find sponsors to increase their reputation if they are ever going to be noticed by the professionals. Career mode sees players racing against teams that are sponsored by real car manufacturers like BMW or Mercedes-Benz, while Quick Race mode offers instant access to all licensed cars from F1 2010 with no progression bar or time limit. Need for Speed Shift 2 Unleashed has been made available through the PlayStation Network, Xbox Live Arcade and Steam on April 17, 2011.
